Trip to the Zoo

The kids had a great time at the zoo! We bought an annual pass so we will be here a lot at least this year!

I used 2 different techniques for the challenge.
1. Dodge and burn tool for the pocket.
2. Clone stamp for the photo to the left of Amanda sitting in the gorillas lap. The lighting for the photo was very bright so I used the clone stamp to duplicate some of the backgrounds off of the other photos.

I used a sketch that was available for the Sketch challenge at K-Joi for the month of June.

I also remembered that I had done a few other layouts for challenges at K-Joi.

My passed away about 20 years ago and she never did like her picture taken so this was quite the challenge. I loved to do this though.

The kids came to see me at work on this day while we were making projects for Earth day. Of course Colin is trying to eat the marker while McKenzie is running around telling everyone in the store that I am her, Mom.

McKenzie is getting so big. She put this whole puzzle together by herself. It has 32 pieces and at first she was a little intimidated by it, but now she asks for other puzzles to do from the store.

Colin is my little reader. He loves to read. And isn't that little dimple just the cutest! I love his little faces that he makes and he is getting quite the personality.

Ok, well I'm off to try to get some sleep once again. Having a hard time getting to sleep tonight, must be the fresh air from earlier today, playing at the park!

Quick Hello to everyone

I have seriously neglected my blog lately. A very dear friend found my blog and I am sad to say that they found it at the worst time. I have not updated it for 2 months so I guess I really should get on the ball and start documenting somethings in my life. I love to share my life with friends and family. So back to the grind stone for me the BAD BLOGGER!!

Scrapbook Expo

My sisters and I along with one of my great niece's went to the Scrapbook Expo yesterday. We had so much fun. It is one of the few times we can all get together and just chat. Life has gotten so busy for all of us that we rarely get together anymore. Between family, school, and scrapbooking life has just gotten a little crazy. I'm so glad that we had the chance to get together even if it was just for only one day. I will post some pictures later today (Hopefully)! I still gotta get back to cleaning the house. Took a day off yesterday now I gotta make up for lost time. LOL!!
