Driving

I loved this photo and Tim had been asking me to put a road as a backdrop!!
It turned out cute! Take a look..can you just imagine when she turns 15.
Yikes!! It is all up to him.
I had to come up with a recipe that you would take on a picnic. I remembered this one was a favorite. It is so rich that you can't eat more than one piece. (Well most people-but I can eat more; just because it is so good).

Here is the recipe if anyone wants to try it and can't read it.

Strawberry Soda Pop Cake

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups boiling water

1 1/2 cups milk

1 (6 ounce) package strawberry flavored gelatin

1 (18.25 ounce) package white cake mix

1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

1 (5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix 16 fluid ounces strawberry flavored carbonated beverage

Instructions

1. Prepare cake according to package instructions for a 9x13 inch pan. remove from oven and poke holes in the cake with a wooden skewer or toothpick.

2. In a medium bowl, combine boiling water with strawberry gelatin. Stir until dissolved and allow to cool slightly. Pour in the strawberry flavored carbonated beverage. Pour slowly over cake, allowing it to soak in. Refrigerate until cool.

3. To make the Frosting: In a medium bowl combine pudding and milk. Beat until well blended and thickened. Fold in the thawed whipped topping. Spread on cake. Refrigerate for several hours before serving.

Thanks and have a great week.
